19 Aug 14:42Been to Dunham Massey several times and different times of the year. Beautiful park and lovely house. I would also recommend visiting the Swan with Two Nicks pub which you can walk to from Dunham. Nice choice of beer and food and lovely real fires in the winer.

30 Jun 11:19National Trust park, house and gardens near the quaint village of Dunham Massey near Altrincham. If your not a NT member then you have to pay £4 to park. As of yet I've not been in the house or gardens but just made the most of the grounds. There are lots of areas on a sunny day to chill out or enjoy a famliy picnic. When I last went it had a beach atmosphere but without the sea, as everyone was playing cricket and frisby. It is a bit pricey to go into the house & gardens so I'd recommend checking out their website for the costs before you commit yourself to the journey.

04 Feb 09:33I've been to Dunham for many years with mates, frolicking about and dodging the deer doos in the park, and is perfect for those summer evenings before heading off for the Vine Inn down the road for a wee drink. I like the stately home there.

10 Nov 19:26Dunham Massey is beautiful. It's amazing to walk amongst the wild deer and the historic house is stunning. There's a good pub around the corner, half a mile away which does great food. But if you want a walk at the weekend, this is a great place to head down with your mates.

31 Oct 18:38This country mansion and gardens is worth going to just to see the hundreds of fallow deer who roam free in the grounds. There's acres of space to walk in, a large lake that doubles up as a duck pond, a picnic area with tables, an extensive restaurant and the house itself to explore. In the summer there's an ice cream van that parks up selling locally made ice-creams that are worth sampling.
