04 Dec 10:03The Co Op are a good bank. The branch in Balloon Street is a great welcoming place. Big space, helpful staff, and free coffees. Generally as banks go, the Co Op are one of the best in terms of their approach and policies, and really pleased that in the crunch, they are one of the banks that have been affected far less than the big high street institutions.

19 Nov 09:28I bank with the CO OP and they're the best. The Balloon street branch is awesome (as banks go) as they have free coffees and newspapers. They also have a shop as part of the branch. Clearly though you bank with the Co Op because of their ethical policies. Id recommend them.

16 Oct 18:58I find this branch (Balloon Street, Manchester) excellent. There is someone near the door to welcome and help you, it is a large space so you don't feel cramped and stuffy and the interior design is relaxing and sparse. One of the great things about the branch is the Co-operative Food shop in it! The Co-operative are an ethical Bank - that's why I bank with them, I even got to have a say in their Ethical Policy as a Co-operative Member!

16 Oct 15:51I changed banks 5 years ago due to the co-op's ethical policy and haven't been disappointed. They will not fund organisations that support oppressive regimes and I'm kept up to date on their policies regarding this and charitable work.Excellent customer service in branches and over the phone. The priveledge account has paid it's way with free worldwide travel insurance, car breakdown cover and half price hotels
