01 Jul 12:28Recently visited here for the 1st time and as a vegetarian that's shocking for me to say as it's fairly local. Had a great meal and I was with a party of meat eaters and not one person had a bad word to say. I do have to make a special mention the chocolate pudding that I had. I has to be the best dessert I have ever tasted, highly recommend it! Didn't see Mr. Rimmer though, but maybe next time!

04 May 16:47Take meat eaters here, distract them and they won't even notice! Quite an achievement! If you hang around the toilets you may see the Rimster himself in the kitchen. If you like what you've had you can buy one of his books signed from behind the bar to complete your stalking experience!

19 Feb 11:32I love the food here. Utterly delicious and completely vegetarian. It's attractive, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, but its not cheap. All in all, I'd come here far more, I just wish they'd do a few more affordable discount days. But to be honest, as it's so popular, perhaps they dont need to.

29 Nov 19:18We went here for my lil sister's birthday a while ago and had a tremendous evening. Despite the fact that my husband doesn't normally rate vegetarian food one bit...he actually raved about his main course, which is a statement in itself. The service was smooth and efficient, friendly without being too in-your-face...a good balance in my books. My dad ordered some fancy wine, which was LOVELY, and a great time was had!

09 Oct 18:49I love the food here. Cooking mostly vegetarian stuff myself this place was a God send when I first discovered it. The infamous Simon Rimmer (the bald one from 'To Buy or Not to Boy'!) established it as one of the most high class vegetarian restaurant's in the North. However, I did have a bad experience a few years ago. It was my birthday and we booked to eat there at their first sitting. We were told we couldn't have starters because there was no time and the whole evening we felt rushed by the waiter to get on with our meal and out of his restaurant. It has put me off and I haven't been back since which deeply saddens me as I love the food.
