Allen Hall, one of the smallest of the halls of residence at Manchester Uni, is a friendly, mixed hall. It's made up of 3 main blocks with a central dining room, TV lounge and laundrette. It has a little bar upstairs and has formal gowns night on Thursdays, where you are served slightly posher dinner than usual by the catering staff. The tucker is pretty good, especially the weekend brunches...they really are something special.

Alan Hall is small compared to the likes of OP or Hulme Hall, however it makes up for what in lacks in size with intimacy. It is well located opposite Plat Fields Park in Fallowfield near to all local amenities and on Oxford Road bus route. With three main buildings and approximately 300 students.
