08 Apr 13:20I'd love to see the Cornerhouse do an unlimited film night for a set monthly fee. Currently I find myself going to cineworld for an unlimited pass, at £11 a month. However, prices have gone up, and I don't want to be continuing as a result. I popped into Cornerhouse to find out if they have looked into such a scheme- I'd be willing to pay more if it was to build up the custom at the Cornerhouse. Hopefully, we'll some scheme appear in months to come!

30 Dec 13:57The Cornerhouse is not usually my cup of tea, but when I was in the first year of my BSc course at the MMU yonks ago, out of a caprice I went out with a mate to watch the Canadian film Crash. I regretted seeing that sick flick since.

04 Dec 12:05I've been a few times and always found it great for watching some of the old classics with their Breakfast Club on a Sunday morning- you can also grab a breakfast too if you are feeling peckish!

25 Nov 10:12Cornerhouse show astounding films, has a great bar, a great cafe, a good little shop and is located in such a good location......but I just wish they were a little more experimentative with their pricing ideas. I'd go to Cornerhouse more if they had a special offer system in place like Cineworld- I'd even pay extra to have a loyalty card with Cornerhouse and I know some of my friends would do. They've recently introduced a one pound deduction if you spend £25 to become a member. I want to support the cornerhouse, but I just want to watch films at a good price too. Cornerhouse- introduce a £14 a month - tie me in for a year contract (which is £2 more than Cineworld) which allows me to watch as many of the wonderful films you put on, and I would buy one and buy them for presents for Christmas. Whatsmore I'd also be spending more money in your bar and shop. It would work. Please try it out for a year and see! Whatsmore, give a deal where if someone gets 10 people to sign up, they get their ticket for free. I'd find you 10!

08 Oct 18:56Check out Ed Swindon photography (also listed on this website!) as he's taken a beautifully wistful image of a girl sitting alone inside the Cornerhouse. The film above her is Waiting for Happiness. It hangs on my landing and I love it and if you are a true CH fan you really should have this print hanging on your wall!!!

08 Oct 18:42One of my special places in Manchester! I love the Cornerhouse and have had many a great night either sipping wine, catching a film or indeed both! I must add that they have the most incredible collection of cards in the shop if you have a birthday/anniversary etc coming up.

08 Oct 07:26Truly one of the treasures of Manchester. Spent many hours in the cinemas with some of the most important films ever made. See stuff here you find anywhere else nearby. Cafe, bar etc, good food and drink, beer, pizza etc... And big open space with an awseome window on the metropolis outside. I found it a little expensive generally, but probably only because I maxed out my card on all the great things to see and do. And I was a struggling student back then =]

07 Oct 17:43The Cornerhouse shows top notch films. Always worth checking their listings, and rarely do they bother putting up a naff one. I've gone here for years and am grateful that Manchester is still managing to look after it's local cinemas.

06 Oct 17:31Cornerhouse has everything - its a bar, a cinema, a cafe, an art gallery, a bookshop.......and a place to watch people. Manchester needs the cornerhouse and it makes our city so much richer. The films are decent independent films, and they are often putting on food and film nights. They have a great little bar with some seats to watch the world and the city go by. However, the gallery space is often missed out by people. I love going to the Cornerhouse.

05 Oct 10:55A perfectly nice coffee house, conveniently situated next to the Cornerhouse cinema if you enjoy the odd film.

05 Oct 10:55Perfect place for pre-cinema drinks, and for coffees sat looking out over the oxford road. They have a pizza, beer and movie offer on a tuesday i think which is good. The pizza's are good....unusual toppings but tasty. Good euro beers and largeish wine list. I've had good evenings over a few bottles of wine watching the world go by. Also exhibit varied art work and changes regularly.
