14 Nov 10:56AMC rocks my world! If you go on a wednesday and get 2-4-1 with orange (student, NHS,armed forces get concession prices) top up your movie watcher points (Moviewatcher is a loyalty card you can sign up for)and grab a free popcorn whilst you're at it, you come out with a night at the flicks for under a tenner, you beauty is all I can say! As my friend would say get involved! My only criticism is their seriously awful adverts for their pre-booking line movie.tickets.com, the WORST adverts ever and you have to see the same one for months on end. A guy falls from a 20 storey building trying to get to the cinema on time end up in head to toe plaster and stills get to watch his film! But in truth he was probably trying to kill himself to escape his mean shrieking girlfriend! Come on AMC get a new ad man!

31 Oct 09:44This is my favourite cinema in town because it's rarely crowded, it's one of the cheaper ones - especially on Wednesday nights with Orange 2-4-1, and the seats are super comfy. Although the popcorn isn't cheap, it is crunchy and hot, and the staff are generally helpful and friendly. Because there are so many screens, you can also catch any films you missed recently, as they have a big range of films to view at any one time. As mentioned in these other reviews above, don't forget to get your car parking ticket validated at the cinema kiosk so you only pay £2...and make sure you get there early on Wednesdays.

08 Oct 22:09The best thing about this cinema is the cheap and easy parking. Just whip your vehicle into the underground parking, get your ticket whizzed at the cinema desk and bob's your jiffy, £2 for as long as you want. It's also rarely over-crowded, has comfy seats and good salted popcorn.

08 Oct 17:31Would normally say Rubbish- but I have a soft spot for them. I first experienced an AMC cinema when I was stuck in New York without anywhere to stay. I was supposed to be staying with friends but I had forgotten to get in touch with them till I got there, and then I couldn't find them and I didn't have their number. So I spent a night getting a bit of cheeky shut eye in this cinema. As a result Id say throw them a bit of mercy! That being said- why did they stop the free popcorn deal in Manchester- I mean- how expensive does popcorn need to be! Nothing special about this place - go to the Cornerhouse for a good experience.

08 Oct 11:22I regulary use this cinema as for me it scores best for location and price . An off peak ticket is £5 (before 4pm Sat/Sun). The ajoining car park is £2 if you use the cinema and get you ticket validated.

08 Oct 11:02Good central location, with parking. Good sound screen size and comfortable seating. A great loyalty card scheme where you regularly get free stuff. Every Wednesday get a free popcorn, and they do free refills on large popcorn and drink combination deals. The staff are very friendly. By far the best national cinema in the city.
