04 Dec 10:35If you find what you are looking for in here then you will get it at a good price. But they get different stock in each week and with no logical pattern so you never know if they will have, or get in what you want. Saying that they are great for art materials and at the moment have a great range of calenders for next year for 99p, such as hunks in uniforms -great crimbo present for your grandma!

05 Nov 23:14This place is great for low price hardback books, especially if you're after lifestyle, cookery, gardening or celebrity autobiography titles. It has a large children's section with audio books, some of the classics and a small selection of gifts/toys . Although the choice is limited, the available books are well laid out in categories and are amazing value. The Works additionally stocks a selection of cd's and dvd's (including compilations, chill-out albums etc) and has a good art section with cheap canvasses, paints and other crafty bits.

08 Oct 11:02The Works is a budget bookstore in the Arndale Centre in central Manchester. It is very cheap and if you want something they stock they would not be beaten on price. However they have a limited range of stock and a lot of it is dated. Go here if you want a very standard product and you will get it at a good price.
