If you are looking to rent or buy a property then rightmove has got to be one of the best places to start. The website is easy to navigate, with maps of the relevant area, specific search criteria and a huge database of properties available. The only downside is that if you are looking for a huge pad, there's no way to narrow your search apart from typing in '5+ bedrooms'....but to be fair, it's not every day you're looking to move to somewhere with more than five bedrooms!
